I haven’t seen this clever cross-marketing in a long time. Well, maybe not since “Barbie races Nascar” or whatever. The nice part about this is, you get the illusion of two toys in one; of course, the rich kids are really going to want the TMX Elmo doll to go along with it. But, the poor kids will get stuck with marked-down ‘Bratz’ anyway – but they like that crap. . . Just like they would love this crap, if you could fit it into your budget.

This doll is pretty cool. I bought one for my friend’s daughters (she is 9 years old) and she really liked it. The three year old enjoyed playing with it as well. Educationally speaking. . . Barbie’s are VERY educational because they encourage little girls to take an interest in hair styling. . . which is a very good occupation. I remember wanting to be a hair dresser when I grew up (because I used to always fix Barbies hair). . . but later I learned there wasn’t really a future in being a hair dresser and had to go back to college and get a BA degree. Good toy and quite durable though.

I bought this for my 4 year old granddaugher. I think she is going to love it. The little Elmo is so cute. I can’t wait until she opens it. It was everything I expected and more.
